Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of portfolio-driven growth strategies, including new market entry, adjacent expansion, and solution-based offerings
- Collaborate with the Sales team to plan and execute growth strategies
- Translate market trends, customer insights, and competitive intelligence into clear portfolio actions and investment priorities
- Establish clear value propositions, positioning, and segmentation strategies to drive differentiated growth
- Prioritize between multiple opportunities and develop a long-term roadmap that balances growth and investments
- Identify, evaluate, and lead strategic partnerships to expand technology capabilities, market access, and solution offerings
- Own the M&A pipeline for the portfolio, including identification, strategic rationale development, and collaboration with leadership on execution
- Absorb potential partners and acquisition targets based on strategic fit, growth potential, and portfolio synergies
- Partner with Product Managers on Voice of Customer efforts to identify unmet needs and translate them into clear product requirements, business cases, and innovation opportunities
- Continuously monitor industry dynamics, emerging technologies, and competitive positioning to inform strategic decisions and portfolio direction
- Provide strategic oversight across the 4Ps (Product, Price, Promotion, Place) to ensure alignment with portfolio strategy
- Support product launches, pricing strategy, and sales enablement to maximize market adoption and revenue impact
- Support and monitor the execution of the growth initiatives
- Own the executive reporting on the growth initiatives performance including escalating to remove any roadblocks
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5–10 years of experience in product management, portfolio strategy, or growth strategy roles
- Demonstrated success in driving growth initiatives, partnerships, or M&A-related activities
- Ability to travel >25%
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree
- Strong background in portfolio strategy, corporate strategy, or consulting
- Experience in industrial safety, automation, control systems, or fire and gas detection solutions
- Strong business acumen, including financial modeling, investment analysis, and business case development
- Proven ability to influence senior leadership and drive alignment across functions
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of turning strategy into execution and results
