Portfolio Manager

About the role

The Portfolio Manager leads a team of PMOs across a portfolio of upper mid-market and enterprise clients. They are accountable for team output, client outcomes, and individual development. This is a player-coach role where they stay hands-on across the entire post-sales lifecycle including discovery, design, implementation, and go-live.

What You'll Do

• Lead a team of PMOs across a portfolio of upper mid-market and enterprise clients
• Own the success of Doss's most complex client relationships
• Conduct and lead cross-functional deep dives across customer organizations to map end-to-end business processes and workflows
• Drive and contribute to new product capabilities that support Doss's push to upper mid-market and enterprise
• Set the standard for best-in-class practices and processes across the team
• Translate process flows into product design and configuration within the DOSS platform
• Partner with technical teams on integrations and data migrations
• Lead UAT, training, and go-live support across your portfolio
• Coach your ICs on client management, problem-solving frameworks, and delivery quality
• Drive automation and AI-forward improvements to Doss's product and customer lifecycle processes

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years experience in engineering, consulting, finance, operations, product operations, or technical program management
• At least some time leading or mentoring others; ERP experience is a plus, not a requirement
• Systems Thinker: highly interconnected across people, process, and technology
• Player-Coach Mentality: lead by doing, roll up your sleeves, and hold the bar
• High-Intensity: thrive in high-pressure environments
• Technical from 1st Principles: can grok hard engineering and logic problems from intuition
• Intellectual Firepower: cut through noise, synthesize fast, and make good calls under ambiguity
• Strong analytical mindset; SQL experience is a plus
