- About the role:
This position is entry level and considered the less experienced job in the PM positions. This CRE position’s role is to gain knowledge, experience and skills in handling all aspects of Portfolio Management under the direction and management of PM Team Leader and more Senior Portfolio Managers. The primary focus will be supporting Senior PM’s with their direct portfolio management and other department related assigned functions.
- Responsibilities:
- Maintain Covenant Compliance of the CRE Portfolio.
- Prepare initial financial review of borrower financials.
- Prepare annual reviews of existing loans to assess credit quality and Covenant compliance; perform property inspections.
- Aid multiple Senior PM’s with the monitoring and management of their portfolio.
- Create detailed Excel Group Exposure Chart.
- Assist Relationship Managers and Senior PM’s with the following tasks:
- Prepare semi-annual construction reviews.
- Provide detailed property descriptions and market analysis.
- Conduct detailed analysis of financial statements.
- Analyze project economics, income and expense, tenant analysis, and property valuations.
- Analyze borrower and guarantor analysis.
- Evaluate lending risks, clearly identify offsets, and summarize recommendations.
- Complete special projects as directed by the CRE Portfolio Manager Team Leader.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
- 0 - 1 years related within financial industry
- Ability to work in a team environment to ensure goals are met
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with software programs (Microsoft Word and Excel)
- Working Conditions:
- Mainly performed in a normal office environment.
- Noise levels usually moderate.
- May involve travel to customers and property locations.
- Prolonged sitting
- Lifting from 5 to 10 lbs. (printer paper, storage boxes)
- Occasional bending or overhead lifting (storing files or boxes)
- The hazards are mainly those present in a normal office setting.
- Pay Details:
$61,600 - $88,000 annually
The base pay actually offered may vary based upon the candidate's skills and experience, job-related knowledge, education, geographic location, internal equity, and other applicable business and organizational needs.
This role is incentive eligible based upon company, business, and/or individual goal achievement and performance.
