Responsibilities
- Provides investment expertise and manages a portfolio of investments utilizing independent analysis.
- Develops and implements various risk management, investment program strategies, processes and controls consistent with policies and procedures.
- Maintains a portfolio of high quality real estate assets, including core, value add and opportunistic risk strategies across property types globally.
- Conducts due diligence for real estate investments.
- Assesses risks and solves problems related to investments.
- Builds and maintains collaborative relationships with other professionals and stakeholders.
- Prepares clear, persuasive reports and presents investment recommendations or findings to senior leadership or governing boards.
- Interprets complex financial, economic, and real estate data to support investment decisions and evaluate portfolio performance.
Qualifications
- Experience in real estate asset management or portfolio management.
- Advanced knowledge of real estate markets and economic trends.
- Expertise in conducting due diligence for real estate investments.
- Strong risk-assessment and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships.
- Skilled in preparing clear, persuasive reports and presenting investment recommendations or findings to senior leadership or governing boards.
- Ability to interpret complex financial, economic, and real estate data to support investment decisions and evaluate portfolio performance.
Skills
- Professional certification in one of the following designations: CFA, CCIM, FRM, CIMA, CAIA.
Pay
The starting salary for this position will be set competitively and commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience. This position is eligible for incentive compensation and has a maximum incentive opportunity of 50% of base salary.
