As a key player in our Accounting + Finance team, you will oversee financial activities of our diverse portfolio, including sectors such as real estate, construction, and manufacturing. This role requires a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail, strong financial acumen, and excellent communication skills. You will manage LLCs, risk management, budgeting, forecasting, and implement financial strategies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial activities relating to the company's portfolio, including real estate transactions, construction, and manufacturing sectors
• Manage the company's LLC, ensuring compliance with legal requirements
• Implement and oversee risk management strategies to protect company assets and ensure financial stability
• Develop and manage budgets for all sectors within the portfolio, ensuring cost-effective operations
• Forecast financial trends and make strategic recommendations to drive growth and profitability
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company objectives
• Ensure all financial activities comply with GAAP
• Oversee revenue recognition processes and ensure accurate financial reporting
• Manage the financial ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of entries
• Implement and maintain internal controls to prevent inaccuracies and fraud
• Use Yardi software for property management accounting needs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA highly preferred)
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or real estate
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial management principles
• Proven experience with budgeting, forecasting, and risk management
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement financial strategies
• Hands-on experience managing an LLC
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition processes and financial ledgers
• Experience with real estate transactions
• Proficiency in Yardi software for property management accounting
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• High level of integrity and professionalism

Pay

$120,000 - $175,000 per year
