As a key player in our Accounting + Finance team, you will oversee financial activities of our diverse portfolio, including sectors such as real estate, construction, and manufacturing. This role requires a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail, strong financial acumen, and excellent communication skills. You will manage LLCs, risk management, budgeting, forecasting, and implement financial strategies.

Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial activities relating to the company's portfolio, including real estate transactions, construction, and manufacturing sectors
- Manage the company's LLC, ensuring compliance with legal requirements
- Implement and oversee risk management strategies to protect company assets and ensure financial stability
- Develop and manage budgets for all sectors within the portfolio, ensuring cost-effective operations
- Forecast financial trends and make strategic recommendations to drive growth and profitability
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company objectives
- Ensure all financial activities comply with GAAP
- Oversee revenue recognition processes and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Manage the financial ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of entries
- Implement and maintain internal controls to prevent inaccuracies and fraud
- Use Yardi software for property management accounting needs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA highly preferred)
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or real estate
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial management principles
- Proven experience with budgeting, forecasting, and risk management
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement financial strategies
- Hands-on experience managing an LLC
- Strong understanding of revenue recognition processes and financial ledgers
- Experience with real estate transactions
- Proficiency in Yardi software for property management accounting
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- High level of integrity and professionalism
Pay
$120,000 - $175,000 per year
