FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in the range of $65,000-$70,000 annually, based on experience, education, certifications, and specific job responsibilities. For positions at a client's property, pay may also reflect the client's directive. The base pay range is subject to change.

About the role

The Portfolio Community Manager oversees the day-to-day servicing of clients and homeowners within an assigned portfolio, ensuring exceptional service through project management and operational oversight. The role involves maintaining proper operations for each association, communicating promptly with boards and owners, and fostering constructive relationships to ensure continuity and profitability between FirstService and the Boards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage operations and administrative tasks for an assigned portfolio of communities.
  • Recommend and implement procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as community association governing documents and policies.
  • Track non-compliance/violation issues and send appropriate notices according to established policies.
  • Oversee the architectural control process to ensure compliance with design guidelines and policies.
  • Inspect buildings, common areas, systems, landscapes, and amenities to ensure timely repair and maintenance.
  • Establish, draft, execute, and supervise the community annual budget, manage capital improvements, review monthly financial statements, prepare variance reports, monitor accounts payable and delinquent accounts, and approve and code vendor invoices.
  • Secure competitive contract bids, present comparative reviews, supervise contract compliance, and oversee community and contractor liability insurance requirements.
  • Review monthly financials with the Regional Director and Board as needed.
  • Plan, organize, and assist the Board in conducting Board and annual membership meetings.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of HOA management experience (CMCA certification preferred).
  • Property management experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Sit at a desk using a computer in an office setting.
