About the role

The Porter at Penske Vehicle Services is responsible for supporting various departments including Mechanical, Paint, Quality, and Company Vehicle Operations. This position involves moving vehicles on public roads between locations or organizing vehicles in lots.

Responsibilities

• Move company vehicles to appropriate locations
• Parking lot organization of vehicles according to lot numbering
• Fuel, vacuum, and clean/wash company vehicles
• Perform physical inspections of used vehicles
• Receive and inspect new vehicles
• Aid in the exchange process of vehicles being dropped off or picked up
• Reconcile vehicle shipments and record VIN numbers to match inventory systems
• Shuttle technical personnel between work locations
• Filing of vehicle paperwork and other office tasks
• Comply with all company policies regarding safe driving
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Excellent driving record (less than 4 points on driving record)
• Ability to drive a manual transmission
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Capable written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
