Porter - Part Time

About the role

This part-time Porter role is essential to keeping our communities clean, beautiful, and welcoming. Ideal for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and takes pride in their work.

Pay

Competitive hourly rate of $18 plus quarterly bonuses. Eligible for a $500 stay-on bonus after 90 days in good standing.

Schedule

20 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Pick up trash and maintain cleanliness of common areas
• Clean pet waste stations
• Assist with trashing out apartments
• Perform light painting and housekeeping tasks
• Support maintenance team as needed
• Operate equipment such as backpack blowers and power washers
• Maintain outdoor spaces, including planting, weeding, and landscaping
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions

Requirements

• Reliability and punctuality
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Strong attention to detail
• Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds or more
• Comfort working outdoors in inclement weather (heat, cold, rain, humidity)
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for prolonged periods
• Experience using hand tools and operating equipment (e.g., golf carts, trailers)
• Ability to work in conditions with loud noise levels at times
• Must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
