Porter - Northwest Location

Primary Responsibilities

• Frequently walk and inspect the community to ensure cleanliness and meet HSL standards
• Assist with various physical and safety-related tasks as directed, including removing litter, trash, debris, pet droppings, etc.
• Raking, sweeping, shoveling, landscaping, and groundskeeping
• Moving or removing heavy items as circumstances warrant
• Performing "trash-out" duties at vacated apartments
• Cleaning and maintaining storage areas
• Tearing down fences, digging post holes, removing signs, etc.
• Painting (interior and exterior) and transporting paint buckets
• Keeping specific areas neat and clean at all times:
• Pool area
• Launderry room
• Leasing office
• Pet areas
• Dumpster areas
• Recreation and relaxation areas
• Grounds adjacent to the road, in front of the office, etc.
• Walkways to and from and in-between buildings
• Parking lots and drives
• Maintenance and storage area(s)
• All common areas and grounds on property
• Performing any additional duties assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Community Director

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in grounds maintenance or similar field preferred. Ability to work independently and follow directions. Physical ability to perform the duties listed above. Valid Arizona driver's license and reliable transportation are required. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
