Porter Maintenance Tech III

About the Role

The Maintenance Tech III provides hands-on technical oversight and coordination of daily activities at the shop level. They assist the lead where needed, coordinate work, and make recommendations on day-to-day shop activities. Responsibilities include helping schedule corrective and preventive maintenance for installation and repair activities on all building systems. While not directly supervising workers, they ensure all work is completed per the lead’s direction and complies with local, state, and federal guidelines and codes.

Responsibilities

• Schedule corrective and preventive maintenance for building systems.

• Coordinate and manage project work as assigned by the lead.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of three years of experience in Healthcare Facilities Management, licensure, or 10 years of trade experience.
• Expertise in electrical, mechanical, and building systems relevant to the area of oversight.
• Strong customer service orientation with effective communication and listening skills.
• May require certification or licensure depending on the area of oversight.
