We are seeking an experienced, responsible, and well-mannered Porter to create and maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for our residents throughout our community.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of busy common areas, including bathrooms, function rooms, stairways, hallways, parking lots, sidewalks, windows, carpets, floors, and all other public areas as required.
• Clean assigned common areas in accordance with guidelines established by the Director of Housekeeping.
• Assist the Director of Housekeeping when and where needed.
• Handle special cleaning projects and assist with snow removal as necessary.
• Maintain a friendly, courteous, and positive attitude when interacting with residents, resident families, guests, and team members to ensure pleasant and professional encounters.

Requirements

• Upbeat, friendly, pleasant, and courteous demeanor when dealing with peers, supervisors, guests, residents, and management.
• Consistent, reliable, and thorough with all cleaning practices.
• Ability to excel in providing cleaning services in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience providing cleaning services in the restaurant, healthcare, hospital, hotel, hospitality, or similar industry is a plus.
• Prior experience working with a senior population is preferred.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Must be able to work at least one weekend day per week (Tues–Sat or Sun–Thurs).
