Porter - Chambersburg - Evening

Responsibilities

• Knows own role in the event of a fire.
• Follows established safety procedures when using chemicals (i.e., goggles, gloves, etc.).
• Uses chemicals per manufacturers instructions.
• Follows established cleaning procedures and schedules as assigned.
• Follows HACCP guidelines for sanitation.
• Attends all in-services.
• Prioritizes workload at the beginning of the shift to meet important guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Assists with catered events when necessary.

Requirements

• Food and Nutrition: Knows own role in the event of a fire.
• Safety Awareness: Familiar with hospital fire, safety, and disaster procedures.
• Confidentiality: Maintains employee and patient confidentiality.
• Attendance: Regular attendance is an essential function of the position.
• Physical and Mental Requirements: Medium work, standing and walking constantly, lifting up to 35 pounds.

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Experience: Experience applying customer service behaviors and communication skills required. Experience in healthcare setting or cleaning industry preferred.
