Porter

About the role

We have an immediate opening for a Porter at our Freightliner of Harrisburg Collision Center. The Porter is responsible for the upkeep of the body/collision shop.

Responsibilities

• Stock supplies in body shop
• Assist with moving vehicles
• May shuttle customers as needed
• Keep shop clean of trash and floor swept
• Keep parking lot clean
• Clean interior and exterior of vehicles
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record

Physical Job Requirements

• Must be able to stand 6–8 hours per shift
• Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach and feel
• Applicant will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, paint, cleaning solutions, and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds several times during the shift
• Must pass background & criminal records check, physical exam and drug screen
