About the role

SSP America operates a diverse portfolio of popular restaurants at LaGuardia Airport, including Beecher's Handmade Cheese, Mulberry Street, Dunkin' Donuts, Bar 212, Brooklyn Diner, and many more. We are seeking a Porter who excels in a fast-paced environment, is self-motivated, and enjoys contributing to a strong team.

Responsibilities

• Transport products between storage areas and restaurants.
• Store products correctly according to temperature and space requirements.
• Maintain the cleanliness of restaurants, storage areas, and equipment.
• Remove refuse and transport unused or soiled items for cleaning.
• Auxiliary tasks as assigned to support the team.

Requirements

• 6+ months of prior experience in a food service, warehouse, stock, or porter role preferred.
• Reliable, energetic, and self-motivated individual.
• A team player who maintains high standards and productivity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Skills

• Attention to detail.
• Physical stamina and strength.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
