Our dealer, Brinson Powersports of Athens, is seeking an outstanding and friendly entry-level Porter to join the team. At Brinson, we value and reward both your skills and your effort. Responsibilities

• Maintains new and used vehicle inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles, replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed, and replacing batteries when necessary.
• Builds new units such as ATVs and UTVs.
• Places stock tags in vehicles.
• Keeps new and used vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving vehicles as directed by management and in accordance with dealership display standards.
• Sweeps, shovels, or vacuums loose debris or salvageable scrap into containers and removes containers from work areas.
• Inspects parts, equipment, or vehicles for cleanliness, damage, and compliance with standards or regulations.
• Drives vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
• Makes key tags for vehicles.
• Drives company vehicle to deliver and pick up customer vehicles.
• Reports to work within acceptable time frames and company standards.
• Maintains appropriate degree of professionalism towards customers and coworkers.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Mechanical knowledge required.
• Must be able to lift items up to 50–75 lbs.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and computers.
• Ability to understand and carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Current, valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).

Working Conditions

The employee will work indoors and outdoors in an auto shop environment.
