About the role

The Porter position at Gerber Collision & Glass involves cleaning customer vehicles before delivery, maintaining shop and office facilities, and other related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the office, including emptying garbage cans, cleaning floors, and dusting countertops and work area.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the production area, emptying waste cans, sweeping floors, disposing of unwanted vehicle parts, and placing tools and equipment in their proper location.
• Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary.
• Pre-wash customer vehicles prior to repairs beginning.
• Exterior and interior cleanup of customer vehicles after repairs are complete.
• Transport of customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs.

Requirements

• High School diploma / GED preferred.
• Ability to multitask.
• Automotive experience preferred.
• Clear close vision required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid Driver's license.
• Strong attention to detail.

Compensation Details

$18-$22+ per hour based on experience.
