Job Responsibilities

• Receives and sorts soiled linen into designated classifications.
• Operates automatic cart washer, as required.
• Removes linen carts from cart washer exit.
• Operates flatwork ironer, small piece folders, and fold linen following predetermined standards.
• Processes specialty items.
• Responsible for quality control, ensuring linens meet customer expectations.
• Identifies and labels each linen distribution cart, covering carts before transport.
• Fold and store linen to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Aids truck driver in loading linen and materials onto the truck.
• Reports par levels or quantities of supplies to the lead or supervisor.
• Maintains cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of work area.
• Ensures a friendly, efficient, and positive customer service demeanor.
• Adapts to customer needs and maintains assigned areas in a clean, neat, and sanitary manner.
• Determines appropriate cleaning techniques based on orientation guidelines.
• Uses efficient and safe methods for operating housekeeping equipment and solutions.
• Maintains cleanliness and hygiene of equipment and supplies.
• Keeps cart properly stocked with equipment and cleaning supplies.
• Ensures all chemicals are accurately labeled and equipment is in good working condition.
• Promotes effective interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationships.
• Assists in improving productivity and operational efficiency of the department.
• Demonstrates commitment to professional growth and competence.

Qualifications

• Past cleaning experience preferred.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, senior management, and Aramark support staff.
• Ability to respond effectively to changing demands.
