About the role
The Shuttle Driver transports customers between the dealership and their home or business, and may assist disabled passengers entering or exiting the vehicle. The role includes operating communication devices to report service disruptions, running dealership errands, maintaining vehicle cleanliness and fuel levels, and keeping records of trips and passenger behavior. When not driving, the role may involve custodial or light building maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities
- Drive a passenger van (up to 15 passengers) or vehicle to transport customers and log mileage.
- Assist passengers in and out of the vehicle as needed.
- Follow customer directions to reach desired destinations.
- Monitor and maintain vehicle fuel and maintenance needs.
- Run errands for the dealership when required.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Keep shuttle vehicles clean and well-maintained when not in use.
Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent.
- Current valid driver’s license (CDL not required).
