About the role
As a Maintenance Porter, you will be part of the team responsible for deliveries, general maintenance, and clean-up of the buildings and grounds of Mary’s Woods. You will contribute to the maintenance, upkeep, and operations of the premises to create a safe and beautiful community for residents and their guests. You must be able to relate positively and favorably to staff, residents, and families, and enjoy working on a team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the set-up and clean-up for special functions at Mary's Woods
- Empty trash and recycle bins
- Deliver mail and packages to residents, sisters, and employees
- Ensure that all areas remain neat and free of litter
- Perform “trash-out” duties at vacated apartments, removing all abandoned furniture, trash, boxes, etc.
- Perform routine maintenance on property efficiently to respond to the needs of Mary's Woods
Requirements
- Education and/or experience equivalent to the completion of a High School Diploma
- Must have a current valid driver's license

Pay
From $18.50 per hour (starting wage depends on experience, certification, and education).
Schedule
Full-time position, Tuesday to Saturday from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
