Porter

About the role

We're seeking a talented Porter to join our team at Campbell Ranch. This position involves maintaining the grounds, amenities, and building exteriors with a focus on maximizing the property's marketing appeal and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Remove trash and other debris from office areas and property perimeter on a daily basis.
• Absorb and prepare market-ready units for leasing.
• Pressure wash exterior buildings, sidewalks, and other areas as needed.
• Assist with property emergencies, such as snow removal and clearing of other inclement weather-related issues.
• Clean available apartments and model homes and common areas of the community, as directed.
• Address property maintenance concerns related to inclement weather conditions.
• Promote customer satisfaction by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and curb appeal, and interacting courteously and professionally with current and potential residents at all times.
• Preserve and respect applicant and resident confidentiality.
• Foster a positive, active, and collaborative relationship with residents, other properties, and associated agencies.
• Clearly and immediately report any maintenance and/or life safety issues identified while performing regular assigned duties.
• Operate a commercial snow blower and shovel snow as necessary.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to cope with and defuse situations involving angry or difficult people.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Maintain professional appearance and comply with prescribed uniform policy.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance.
• Must comply with all safety requirements.
• Must complete and successfully pass the Avenue5 Fair Housing, Diversity and Inclusion Training within the first 30 days of employment.

Skills

Pay

$17 to $18 per hour.
