Job Description

Aid in collecting and transporting waste safely, adhering to all federal, state, and local regulations. Duties include sweeping, picking up litter, pressure washing, graffiti removal, using backpack blowers, and maintaining bus stops. Ensure proper customer service and promptly report any issues to relevant managers.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Class C Driver’s License
• Acceptable Driver Record
• Exceptional Communication Skills
• Ability to perform physical tasks with or without reasonable accommodations

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Experience in waste, environmental services, energy, or transportation industries

• Standing, walking, seeing, hearing, and smelling continuously
• Solving problems, communicating orally and in writing, analyzing, concentrating, and interacting with others continuously
• Eye/hand coordination, handling, and wrist motion continuously
• Bending, reaching, stretching, frequently, and lifting up to 50 lbs. frequently
• Exposure to dust, smoke, fumes, odors, grease, oil, chemicals, wet/hot conditions, and noise continuously
• Works primarily outside
