Responsibilities
- Coordinates and monitors the resolution of routine portal support requests and performs regular software maintenance updates.
- Prepares technical development artifacts, maintains accurate records of system configurations, and verifies that all software modifications meet established SOPs and security guidelines.
- Maintains help desk tickets related to portal access and coordinates with vendors to ensure the delivery of essential software licenses and components.
- Drafts and maintains portal support documentation for Special Operations infrastructure in the Pacific.
- Prepares Technical Status Reports for senior review and monitors the status of ongoing software repairs at regional mission-support sites.
- Aids in identifying technical development gaps and recommends priority resource allocations to sustain theater portal readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of position-relevant experience.
- Demonstrated ability to draft technical software documentation and follow established SOPs.
Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years of position-relevant experience.
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent IAT Level II certification.
- Experience using automated service desk management systems or specialized portal development tools.
Physical Requirements
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
