Port Rover (Temporary)

About the role

Reporting to the Port Operations Supervisor, the Port Rover is responsible for daily conveyor inspections and clean up, barge tie-downs, providing breaks for all positions associated to shipment of concentrate, operates and assists with VAC truck operations, and other duties as assigned. 2026 Shipping Season; Rotation Schedule will be 2 weeks on-site with 2 weeks off-site.

Responsibilities

• Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
• Responsible for daily conveyor inspections, clean up and barge tie downs
• Able to relieve all positions associated to shipping concentrate
• Operate and assists with VAC truck operation and clean up
• Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience operating and basic knowledge of equipment a benefit
• A team player and able to communicate well with others
• Highly motivated and have ability to perform tasks with limited direction
• Adhere to high safety standards
