Pool & Waterfront Server

About the role

We are seeking team members who can create an excellent food and beverage experience for patrons in our poolside and beach-front outlets through prompt, professional, and detail-oriented service. Servers may be asked to work at different dining locations within our resort based on staffing needs.

Schedule

This outlet generally operates 7 days a week in the summer from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM and again from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Complete opening side work as assigned
• Ensure table and menu cleanliness
• Attend pre-meal meeting on time and in full uniform
• Demonstrate proper menu, product, and resort knowledge
• Greet and seat guests
• Deliver menus and present them verbally to guests
• Inform guests of specials and exhibit proper selling techniques
• Demonstrate knowledge of wine presentation
• Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems effectively
• Time and coordinate food delivery
• Validate guest satisfaction and anticipate guest needs through observation
• Clear food and beverage items (pre-bus tables even when a Busser is on duty)
• Ensure accuracy of guest checks and apply necessary discounts
• Reset tables promptly for the next guests
• Handle guest concerns and escalate issues to management immediately
• Complete closing side work and end-of-shift paperwork
• Attend trainings and meetings as required
• Perform other duties as assigned

Pay

$10.70 an hour + gratuities
