About the role
Pool Technicians play an essential role in maintaining safe, clean, and well-functioning aquatic facilities. This position supports daily waterpark operations by helping ensure water quality, equipment reliability, and compliance with safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily water testing and chemical balancing to ensure all pools and aquatic attractions meet health, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Monitor water clarity, temperature, and circulation systems to maintain optimal swimming conditions.
- Inspect, operate, and maintain pool pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, and other mechanical equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of water chemistry readings, chemical usage, maintenance activities, and repair.
- Safely handle, store, and transport pool chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines and regulations.
- Work collaboratively with Lifeguards and Park Service Attendants to support daily operations and maintain a safe environment.
Requirements
- Ideal candidates are dependable, detail-oriented, and mechanically inclined, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to understand and follow safety procedures, technical instructions, and operational guidelines.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and approach when interacting with park visitors and other employees.
- Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods while adapting to varying weather conditions, including heat, rain, and other environmental elements.
