About The Role
The Pool Server provides exceptional quality and service to Pool guests. In this role, you will be tasked with accommodating guests' needs by providing exceptional knowledge of food & beverage menu items as well as all pool amenities and services.
Responsibilities
- Retrieve, stock, restock, and drop off towels, juices, fruits, and other items or amenities needed in the area to provide guests with a level of service in keeping with a Four Seasons outlet of operation.
- Set up, relocate and maintain all pool deck equipment.
- Upon greeting, ascertain guest/resident/apartment guest name, room number, time of arrival and chaise/table number and record on the daily log sheet.
- Assist guests and residents in seating, offering towels, and informing them of amenities, hotel information and food and beverage service; offer cold towels, water mists and glasses of water.
- Describe the selection of food & beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of each; communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen using the hotel’s point-of-sales system; coordinate food timings; check completed kitchen orders with the guest’s original order; transport items to the guest table in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.
- Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
- Assist in cleaning the pool, Jacuzzi, deck and tiles.
Requirements
- An outgoing personality and a can-do approach to an assigned task.
- High level of understanding and knowledge of food and cocktails.
- Six months food and beverage experience in a luxury setting preferred.

Schedule
This is a full-time position. Flexible schedule expected as shifts could include mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
