Pool Recruitment for Faculty Associates in Legal Aspects of Interdisciplinary Forensics

Arizona State University · West Valley City, UT · 6 days ago
Full-time
The user wants me to reformat a job posting into clean, well-structured semantic HTML. I need to follow specific rules: 1. Use

for section headings (e.g., About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule) 2. Use
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and

for prose 3. Do NOT repeat the job title as a heading (the page already shows it) 4. Do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short

or drop it 5. Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail 6. Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions 7. Include a section ONLY when the posting has real, specific content for it — never emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text 8. Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones 9. Output ONLY the HTML fragment — no /, no markdown code fences Let me analyze the job posting content: The posting is for Faculty Associate positions at Arizona State University's School of Interdisciplinary Forensics (SIF) in the New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences for the 2026-2027 academic year. Key sections I can identify: - About the role/position (first paragraph describes the position details) - About the School (SIF) - About the New College - About Arizona State University - Essential Functions of the Position (responsibilities) - Required Qualifications - Desired Qualifications I need to structure this with appropriate headings. The rules say to use

for section headings like "About the role", "Responsibilities", "Requirements", "Qualifications", "Skills", "Benefits", "Pay", "Schedule". Looking at the content: - The first paragraph describes the position: one-semester, non-benefits-eligible, fixed-term appointments, no tenure implications, not to exceed .40 FTE per semester, number of courses contingent on needs/funding/enrollment, salary based on qualifications and teaching load. This could be "About the role" or "Position details". - "About The School SIF" - could be "About the school" or similar - "About The New College Of Interdisciplinary Arts And Sciences" - could be "About the college" - "About Arizona State University" - could be "About the university" - "Essential Functions Of The Position" - this is clearly "Responsibilities" - "Required Qualifications" - "Requirements" or "Qualifications" - "Desired Qualifications" - could be part of "Qualifications" or separate "Preferred qualifications" I should not create sections for Benefits, Pay, Schedule unless explicitly stated. The posting mentions "non-benefits-eligible" and "Salary is based on qualifications and assigned teaching load" but doesn't have a detailed benefits/pay/schedule section. So I should not create those headings. I need to preserve all substantive information. The "About" sections have quite a bit of prose. I'll use

    for prose and

    • for lists. The Essential Functions are listed as bullet points in the text (they start with "Collaborate with...", "Teach the...", etc.) - I should format as
      • . Required Qualifications has two options (either one of the following) with sub-points. I'll need to structure that clearly. Desired Qualifications is a list of bullet points. Let me draft the HTML structure:

        About the role

I should check if I missed anything. The posting mentions "For more information visit us at https://newcollege.asu.edu/." and "To learn more about ASU, visit http://www.asu.edu." These are links for more info, but they're not core job details. The rules say to remove application instructions, but these are just informational links. I think I can include them as part of the prose or omit them. Since they're not application instructions per se, but rather "for more info", I might include them in the relevant sections. But the rules say "remove ... application instructions". These are not application instructions. However, they are navigation/links. I'll include them in the prose for completeness. Also, the first paragraph says "The School of Interdisciplinary Forensics (SIF) in the New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences (New College) at Arizona State University (ASU) invites applications for Faculty Associate positions during the 2026–2027 academic year to develop and teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the legal aspects of interdisciplinary forensics." This is the opening. I included the position details in "About the role" but not the invitation part. I should include that context. Let me adjust "About the role" to include the first sentence. Also, note that the posting says "Faculty Associate positions are one-semester, non-benefits-eligible, fixed-term appointments with no tenure implications, not to exceed an average of .40 FTE per semester. The number of courses is contingent upon unit needs, funding, and sufficient enrollment. Salary is based on qualifications and assigned teaching load." That's all in the first paragraph after the invitation. I'll structure "About the role" to include the invitation and the details. Now, I need to ensure I don't
