Pool Pharmacist

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin (Froedtert Hospital). On‑site position. FTE: 0.001, Standard Hours: 0.01, Shift: 4.

Job Summary

Responsible for all aspects of pharmacotherapy on an assigned patient care unit. Provides clinical support and distribution services in coordination with physician and nursing services in delivering quality and cost‑effective drug therapy to patients. Other duties as assigned.

Experience

• Minimum of one year hospital pharmacy experience or three years of other pharmacy experience (preferred).

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. from an ACPE‑certified school of pharmacy (required).
• Successful completion of an ASHP‑accredited PGY1 residency (preferred).

Special Skills

• Effective use of computers and applications (e.g., MS Word, Excel, Outlook) as appropriate to practice.
• Strong communication skills.
• Active membership in the Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin (preferred).
• Active membership in the American Society of Health‑System Pharmacists (ASHP) and/or other national pharmacy organizations as approved by Pharmacy Administration (preferred).

Licensure

• Active Wisconsin Pharmacist License required or eligibility to obtain within 3 months.
