About the role

The pain management physician must be comfortable performing most bread-and-butter fluoroscopy guided procedures in the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine, as well as, being well versed in epidural steroid injections, facet joint interventions including RFA, spinal cord stimulation trials, discography, and sympathetic nerve blocks. They should also be comfortable with the evaluation and clinical management of patients with chronic pain.

Responsibilities

  • Perform fluoroscopy guided procedures in the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine
  • Administer epidural steroid injections, facet joint interventions including RFA, spinal cord stimulation trials, discography, and sympathetic nerve blocks
  • Evaluate and clinically manage patients with chronic pain

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Eligible, Fellowship trained in Interventional Pain Management
  • Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the State of Georgia

  • MD or DO degree

Pay

Competitive compensation which considers an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors

Schedule

Standard work week of Monday – Friday Clinic days 8a-5p Procedure days 7:30a-3p, procedure suites onsite in medical office Full-time 100% outpatient practice, no hospital responsibilities Call is via phone and shared, one week at a time based on number of providers in group

Minimum Requirements: MD or DO Board Certified or Eligible, Fellowship trained in Interventional Pain Management Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the State of Georgia
