Pool Maintenance Technician

Hourly Rate: $23.05

About the role

As a Pool Maintenance Technician at Hyatt Vacation Club (HVC), you will assist in providing our Owners and guests with experiences and events to create memorable vacation memories in a supportive, friendly, and beautiful work environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs water quality testing and maintains an appropriate balance of chemicals in the water.
• Pressure washes pool decks, maintains pool equipment, adjusts lighting, and cleans pool furniture.
• Cleans pool tiles and features, backwashes filters, inspects and repairs furniture and safety equipment.
• Meets with vendors, receives supplies, performs general maintenance on the pool, and completes other duties as requested.
• Completes safety training and certifications.
• Regularly cares for pools, ponds, and water features including cleaning, vacuuming, and skimming water; trimming and fertilizing aquatic plants; and caring for and treating fish.
• Welcomes and greets guests, anticipates and addresses their needs.
• Interacts with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.
• Contributes to team goals while following company policies and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
• Able to reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License required.
• Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy.

Schedule

Full-time, regular position. Shifts include 1st and 2nd (various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days).
