Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of all individuals using the swimming and leisure facilities by supervising activities.
• Respond to emergencies and promote a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.

Requirements

• Current RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ). All external candidates must provide a copy of their current, in-date NPLQ certificate.
• Subject to an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
• Applicants must be aged 18 or over in accordance with working time regulations.
• If you are not currently an employee of Active Tameside, you will be required to undertake a competency assessment.
