Responsibilities
- Service an established route of residential and commercial swimming pools
- Test and balance pool water chemistry to maintain safe, healthy water
- Add and adjust pool chemicals including chlorine, sanitizer, pH adjusters, and algaecides
- Brush pool walls, steps, and tile surfaces
- Vacuum pools and remove debris
- Empty skimmer baskets and pump baskets
- Clean or backwash pool filters as needed
- Inspect pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, automation systems, and other pool equipment for proper operation
- Identify equipment issues and communicate repair recommendations to customers
- Maintain accurate service records and communicate completed work
- Keep company vehicles organized and stocked with supplies
- Deliver exceptional customer service during every visit
Requirements
- No pool service experience required—we’ll train you
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must be at least 21 years old for company vehicle insurance requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to safely handle pool chemicals and equipment after training
