Pool Bartender - Desert Blue Resort

About the role

As a Bartender at Travel + Leisure Co., you will provide excellent guest service in the resort’s food and beverage outlets. You’ll address guest needs, complete beverage orders, clean and stock areas, and offer suggestions to enhance the guest experience. This role involves mixing cocktails, serving wine, draught, and bottle beer, collecting payments, and preparing the bar area for shifts. You may also assist in food preparation, order supplies, and maintain high-quality standards while following safety protocols. Additionally, you’ll work outdoors by the pool, taking orders and serving at the Pool Café.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and courteous guest service in food and beverage outlets.
• Complete beverage orders and requests efficiently.
• Clean and stock all bar areas based on inventory control.
• Offer ideas and suggestions to guests when ordering.
• Serve wine, draught, and bottle beer.
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
• Collect payment from guests.
• Prepare the bar area and supplies for shifts.
• Order or requisition liquor and supplies as needed.
• Assist in the preparation of food orders when required.
• Maintain the company’s high-quality standards and follow all safety protocols.
• Work outdoors by the pool, taking drink orders and bartending at the Pool Café.
