About the role
We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and safety-focused Pool Attendant to oversee the daily operations of our resort pool area. The Pool Attendant is responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for checking in and out keys and radios from the safety office.
- Check in daily by 11:00 AM with Front Office Lodging Management to receive assignments.
- Greet each guest coming in to use the Spring warmly.
- Make sure towel cubbies are stocked.
- Enforce rules and regulations in the pool areas to guests in a calm manner.
- Ensure that all guests using the pool are lodging at Sundance Mountain Resort.
- Make sure that all necessities are stocked (i.e. water cups, pool towels, sunscreen, paper products, etc.).
- Arrange furniture as needed.
- Clean up after guests' departure from area as needed.
- Maintain a clean appearance, and positive interactions.
- Support the recycling program and educate guests as needed.
- Shares the Sundance story of land preservation and environmental commitment as the occasion arises.
- Keep radio on to effectively communicate with supervisors at all times.
- Report anything broken to Maintenance team.
- Promptly report any suspicious activity or safety hazards to the Safety team.
Qualifications
- Operate 2-way radios for communication to other staff.
- Valid U.S. drivers' license in good standing as determined by Sundance's Insurance Company guidelines.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
- Must be 19 years of age or older
