Duties and Responsibilities
- Tests and balances pool chemicals and documents as required by state and local regulations.
- Maintains pool temperature.
- Cleans and vacuums pool, cleans skimmer baskets, backwashes pool filters, and skims the pool with skimmer.
- Sweeps the pool deck and all surrounding areas daily.
- Straightens pool furniture, ensuring that furniture is clean and in working order at all times.
- Maintains a welcoming atmosphere for residents by monitoring residents entering and exiting the pool area.
- Ensures the pool capacity is not exceeded and that all posted pool rules are being adhered to.
- Cleans and maintains pool bathrooms daily, including stocking them with supplies and ensuring they are free of standing water.
- Cleans the clubhouse and surrounding common areas as needed.
- Ensures safety equipment is present and in working order.
- Checks first aid kits for needed supplies on a daily basis.
- Gardens and removes weeds in common areas.
- Supports community groundskeeping and other general maintenance tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- No prior experience or training required.
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred.
- Must have reliable transportation to work.
- Must maintain an active and working personal mobile phone.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and internet is required.
- Good verbal communication skills are necessary.
- Must be able to endure seasonal temperatures.
- A growth mindset and willingness to learn are important qualities.
- Must present oneself in a neat, clean, and professional manner at all times.
