About the Role
A Front Desk Associate is responsible for working independently without direct supervision, providing strong customer service, and managing various front desk operations. This role involves greeting residents and guests, monitoring security systems, and responding to emergencies.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills.
- Monitor the Emergency Response System.
- Greet and direct residents, guests, and invitees.
- Monitor and control Electronic Security Control Systems.
- Respond to emergency situations in a timely and efficient manner.
- Monitor and control access to the building.
- Maintain daily logs, records, and forms.
- Resolve and follow up on all complaints or issues.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment throughout the building or property.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the on-site property manager.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency preferred; college-level courses in business or hospitality are a plus.
- Two to three years of business experience preferred.
- Computer literacy, including familiarity with information system hardware and software.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Multiple language fluency is desirable.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 30–50 lbs.
- Work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods of time.
- Handle, finger, grasp, and lift objects and packages.
- Reach with hands and arms.
- Communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information verbally and in writing.
- Navigate the property or building quickly and easily to meet job functions.
- Complete all required forms.
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on project requirements.
- Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner.
