About the role
At Advanced Physical Therapy, we provide an advanced physical therapy experience using clinical expertise and quality service to improve the wellness of the communities we serve. This full-time Pool/Aquatic PTA position is based in our beautifully appointed Wasilla clinic, where you will work closely with experienced clinicians and collaborate with orthopedic and interventional pain management specialists.
Responsibilities
- Aid Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Guide patients through aquatic therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional activities.
- Apply modalities such as heat, cold, and ultrasound as directed.
- Document patient progress accurately and communicate updates to supervising Physical Therapists.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment.
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a one-on-one treatment setting.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Active state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Outpatient experience is preferred but not required.
- Interest in aquatic therapy and a desire to expand clinical skills.

- Solid understanding of physical therapy techniques and principles.
- Ability to follow direction while working independently when appropriate.

Pay
Your compensation will be generously negotiated based on your experience and qualifications.
