About the role
We are seeking a Polysomnographic Technologist to perform sleep studies and initiate sleep-related therapies, including PSGs, MSLT, and MWT.
Responsibilities
- Conducting tests per physician orders
- Troubleshooting equipment
- Ensuring artifact-free recordings
- Obtaining patient information and consent
- Serving as a preceptor for students
The role requires adherence to departmental policies, infection control, and attendance standards, with minimal supervision, reporting to a management team.
Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy or sleep program, with CRT, RRT, or RPSGT credentials is required. Prior experience is not required. Certifications must be maintained, with specific licensing requirements based on location.
