Polysomnographic Technologist / Sleep Tech - Lab

About the role

As a Polysomnographic Technologist (Sleep Tech) you will work under the director to provide comprehensive analysis, evaluation, and treatment of sleep disorders. You will safely operate medical processes and equipment to record sleep and wake physiology.

Responsibilities

• Conduct polysomnography studies to monitor patients’ sleep patterns.
• Operate and maintain sleep study equipment and ensure accurate data collection.
• Analyze and evaluate recorded sleep data for diagnostic purposes.
• Assist in the treatment planning for patients with sleep disorders.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the study.
• Document findings and communicate results to the supervising director.

Qualifications

• Current New Mexico license.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including patience, empathy, and compassion.
• Effective communication skills: active listening, writing, speaking, and reading comprehension.
• Fast and adaptive problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Pay

• Estimated gross weekly pay: $1,651
• Estimated weekly stipend: $931

• Shift: 3 × 12‑hour nights
