Location: 3800 203rd St, Olympia Fields, IL 60461
Responsibilities
- Performs all Sleep Disorder Center procedures, including but not limited to sleep data analysis and report generation, diagnostic polysomnograms, CPAP, Bi level and/or oxygen titration polysomnograms, and Multiple Sleep Latency Tests, consistent with community and national standards.
- Assists the Sleep Center manager/director in daily operations, including scheduling, answering phones, and other duties as directed.
- May be responsible for staff education and training as needed.
- Safely manages the environment of care while providing quality services for all customers.
- Provides physical and supportive care and sleep-related health education to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Qualifications
- Nationally registered in polysomnography with the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) or the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) required.
- Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Graduate of an accredited polysomnography program or respiratory therapy program preferred.
- 1 year technical experience working in a sleep lab/center preferred.
- Experience scoring sleep studies preferred.
- Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree required. If no degree, a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Pay
$31.12/hr.
