About the Role
The Sleep Technologist conducts comprehensive adult and pediatric polysomnographic testing, analysis, patient care, and education. They provide diagnostic and therapeutic interventions such as CPAP, Bi-level, ASV, and O2 titration, under supervision. Additionally, they may oversee and train other staff members. The technologist covers multiple facilities and may be assigned to different locations with adequate notice.
Responsibilities
- Perform polysomnographic testing and analysis
- Administer diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
- Provide patient education and care
- Supervise and train staff as needed
- Support multiple facility locations
Qualifications & Skills
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or Certified Polysomnographic Technician
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Proficiency in all competencies of a Polysomnographic Technologist
- Preferred: Associate's Degree
