Polysomnographer - Part-Time Night - Relocation Assistance

About the role

Provide specialized, one‑on‑one patient care as a Polysomnographer (PSGT) on a part‑time night‑shift schedule of three 12‑hour shifts per week at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. You will perform comprehensive sleep studies, operate sophisticated polysomnographic equipment, explain procedures, prepare patients, and apply recording devices while working independently under the supervision of the Manager. This position is part of Providence’s collaborative team committed to high‑quality, patient‑centered care, with relocation assistance available for eligible external candidates.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive polysomnographic testing and sleep studies independently.
• Operate sophisticated medical equipment to record sleep/wake physiology.
• Explain procedures to patients, prepare them, and apply recording devices.
• Monitor polygraph recordings and audio/visual equipment to ensure patient safety, test quality, and accurate capture of sleep/wake data and physiological events.
• Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Document findings and communicate results to the supervising manager and healthcare team.

Requirements

• California Polysom Technologist License (required upon hire).
• National Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (NRPT) or National Certified Polys
