About the Role
Perform Sleep Disorders Center testing procedures on neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in both acute and non-acute care settings under supervision.
Responsibilities
- Conduct polysomnography testing and related procedures.
- Assist licensed RCP/Polysomnographic Technologist in patient assessments.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure quality standards.
- Support patient comfort and safety during testing.
Requirements
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or Certified Polysomnographic Technician upon hire.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Experience in Polysomnography required.
Qualifications
- Preferred: Associate's degree or technical program in Health Science or related field.
- Preferred: Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and patient care skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of sleep disorder testing procedures and safety protocols.
