Political Subdivisions Attorney
About the role
Bricker Graydon Wyatt is seeking an attorney to join its growing Political Subdivisions practice, working with municipal clients throughout Central and Northeast Ohio. The ideal candidate will have significant experience providing counsel to municipalities, counties, and other public entities on general law director matters, with an emphasis on labor and employment and fiscal matters. Experience with litigation and/or workers’ compensation is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Provide counsel to municipalities, counties, and other public entities on general law director matters, including labor and employment and fiscal issues.
- Work independently and collaboratively with multiple attorneys on a variety of assignments.
- Demonstrate strong project management skills.
Requirements
- Significant experience providing counsel to public-sector clients (municipalities, counties, or other public entities).
- Excellent academic credentials and high ethical standards.
- Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a team environment.
Pay
The anticipated pay range for this role is $130,000–$150,000. The actual salary will be determined based on background, experience, and education, consistent with applicable law.
