Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload under supervision, focusing on pre-litigation personal injury files.
- Assist with litigation files, including attending court hearings, conferences, and other proceedings as assigned.
- Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties.
Qualifications
- Skilled in negotiation, advocating for clients' interests in settlements and discussions.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active license (or eligibility for prompt admission) to practice law in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong drafting and courtroom presentation abilities.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple matters and deadlines independently while collaborating with a team.
- Professionalism, sound judgment, ethical integrity, and commitment to high-quality client service.
- Prior experience in personal injury matters is preferred but not required; willingness to learn and develop in these areas is essential.
