Political Science - Part-Time Lecturer Pool

About the role

The Division of Politics, Administration, and Justice at CSU Fullerton invites applications for its Political Science Part-Time Lecturer Pool. We are seeking intelligent, highly motivated, and well-organized part-time lecturers to teach in our curriculum. We are particularly interested in faculty to teach in face to face classes. An area of particular need is experience teaching or qualifications to teach upper-division and graduate courses in comparative politics or international law.

Responsibilities

• Teach in the Political Science curriculum at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Teach in face-to-face classes.
• Teach upper-division and graduate courses in comparative politics or international law.
• Work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students.
• Interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students.

Requirements

• Enrolled in a Ph.D. program in political science or public administration, or have an M.A with substantial graduate work.
• Prior teaching experience at the university level.
• Demonstrate ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Political Science or Public Administration.
• M.A. with substantial graduate work.
• Prior teaching experience at the university level.
• Experience teaching or qualifications to teach upper-division and graduate courses in comparative politics or international law.
• Ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students.
