Policy and Strategy Analyst SME
About the Role
Exciting opening for a Policy and Strategy Analyst SME to support a large customer organization in the fast-growing National Security Group. This position is located in Bethesda, MD. Candidates must currently possess a TS/SCI Polygraph security clearance.
Primary responsibilities and tasks may include some or all of the following:
- Contribute meaningful input to Cybersecurity policies.
- Develop and publish baseline security requirements for common enterprise services to ensure capabilities are in compliance with cybersecurity directives and policies.
- Conduct critical path analysis, risk analysis, and task dependency analysis.
- Develop security requirements and constraints to provide input to foundational technical documents, including program architectural artifacts, business cases, and concept of operations.
- Provide guidance and recommendations for security-related issues.
- Demonstrate a firm understanding of the Cybersecurity requirements across the Intelligence Community (IC).
- Understand National Security Systems initiatives.
- Familiarity with the IC policy update process.
- Familiarity with the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) structure and processes.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Requirements
- Active/Current TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience with a BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with an MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with a Ph.D.
- Familiarity with IC policies and authorities.
- Experience in cybersecurity responsibility areas listed above.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to consistently provide high-quality products that are concise, thorough, and accurate.
- Ability to adapt in response to shifts in customer priorities.
- Experience in the Authorization to Operate (ATO) process.
- Experience partnering across the IC.
- Experience in Risk Management.

Pay
Target Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
