Policy and Document Management Intern

Policies and Document Management

Review and organize existing organizational policies, procedures, and related documents.

Convert documents into standardized templates and formatting requirements as needed.

Export and convert documents into editable formats to support future revisions and workflow integration.

Assist with uploading and organizing documents within the new policy management platform.

Maintain accurate version control and file naming conventions across all documents.

Identify formatting inconsistencies, missing information, or duplicate documents and escalate concerns appropriately.

Support quality assurance reviews to ensure policies are complete, readable, and properly categorized.

Workflow & Implementation Support

Assist in documenting and testing policy review and approval workflows within the new platform.

Participate in weekly implementation meetings with the software vendor and internal project leads.

Take meeting notes and track action items related to implementation progress.

Help coordinate updates and communication between departments regarding policy revisions and submission needs.

Support the Policy Committee process by organizing documentation and preparing materials for review.

Administrative & Project Support

Track project progress using spreadsheets or project management tools.

Absorb data entry, reporting, and document inventory management.

Maintain confidentiality of organizational and operational information.

Perform additional administrative or project-related duties as assigned.
