Duties
- Support the Department of the Interior and the Bureau of Reclamation by reviewing identified issues with the implementation of the 1997 Operating Criteria and Procedures of the Newlands Project (OCAP) and providing guidance for the forthcoming OCAP Revision.
- Review and provide guidance on issues associated with the 1997 OCAP.
- Hold interviews/meetings with LBAO and partners.
- Develop a technical memorandum and PowerPoint presentation to communicate results.
Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree in Water or Environmental Law or Policy with minimum additional experience of 10 year(s) in water law or policy.
- Strong understanding of state (Nevada) and federal water policy, laws, and regulations, and an understanding of the Bureau of Reclamation’s mission and operations.
- Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint, MS Teams, MS Outlook, MS SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat.

This means that an Enrollee is free to terminate enrollment at any time during the enrollment period, and NEW Solutions and the Agency have the right to terminate the relationship with the Enrollee.
An “Enrollee” is not a federal employee, nor an employee of NEW Solutions. An “Enrollee” is a participant in a grant program established through a Cooperative Agreement funded by the agency and administered by NEW Solutions.
