About the role

The Glasgow Police Department is hiring two Patrolmen. Located in Glasgow, Montana, this small but vibrant community offers a unique opportunity to engage in all aspects of law enforcement.

Responsibilities

- Provide patrol services throughout the city. - Respond to emergency calls and non-emergency situations. - Conduct traffic stops and investigations. - Participate in community policing initiatives. - Maintain public safety and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws.

Requirements

- Must be at least 18 years old. - Hold a valid driver's license. - No felony convictions.

Qualifications

- Completion of a POST (Peace Officers Standards and Training) certification program. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. - Physical fitness and ability to perform physically demanding tasks.

Skills

- Proficiency in computer systems and software. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.

Pay

City of Glasgow Hiring Incentives

- $2000 sign-on bonus upon hire for individuals with no prior experience. - Additional $2000 upon completion of the 1-year probationary period. - $3000 after 1 year of service for POST certified officers. - Another $3000 after their second year of service for POST certified officers.
